The Treasury of Saint Catherine – Timeless Splendor, Soon in a New Light!
Hidden deep within the crypt of the Saint Catherine Church lies a true gem: the Treasury of Saint Catherine. Here, you will discover a remarkable collection of religious masterpieces, featuring Anglo-Saxon vestments, among the oldest in Europe; early medieval relics, and exquisite silverwork. Many of these treasures have been officially recognized as Flemish Masterpieces due to their exceptional historical, artistic, and scientific value.
The museum is currently undergoing a refreshing renovation. Starting summer 2025, the Treasury will reopen in a fully renewed setting, enriched with modern multimedia and interactive experiences!
