From 1 July 2006 to 3 June 2007 the Minderbroederskerk (Minorite church) in Maaseik (Boomgaardstraat) hosts the ARCHAEOLOGY EXPEDITION! exhibition, produced by the 'Drents Museum' in Assen (NL). After the success of the earlier exhibitions '100,000 years of SEX' and 'Ötzi, the Iceman', the Maaseik Museums continue on this course. Indeed, with each of these exhibitions there was a strong emphasis on the active involvement of the visitors. The same educational objective once again is the focus for this "ARCHAEOLOGY EXPEDITION" project. No need at all to keep on the sidelines. This time you get the opportunity to actually do some experimenting yourself! If you don't succeed at first, or if you want a little more explanation... why not call on our edutainer, who will be more than happy to tell you about all of the experiments!
